most things italian are going to cost more and be alittle more on the prestige point of view..whether its clothes, food, travel, cars, and of course bikes. They are very good, very fast bikes, and tons of people swear by em, and will never own anything but a Duc. Peronsally, I think they are about the most uncomfortable bikes around, but thats just me.

The same could be said about cloths. You can buy them at Bloomingdales or get the knock offs at Kmart. Its all a status someone wants to carry or show off with. :dthumb:
Duc riders will differ with u on that opinion though..trust me, I've asked one before why chooses to ride a Duc. I got into a "discussion" with him about how he thinks japanese bikes suck. :cursin:

ok..theres a break in the action in this thread since Pigface1 isnt online right now....

There are posers on every kind of bike, Hogs, Japanese, Italian, whatever...depending on what your view of a hot, popular, fast bike is (insert any other acronym here that you want as well). If you ride safely and smartly (and kick some ass in the process), and ur comfortable and happy with your ride, thats all that matters. A poser can be a squid, or just a generic term that somebody uses who thinks they are better than the others. that applies to bikes, cars, hell even skate boards probably

Personally, for me, Ducs are about as comfortable as sitting on a cement block, but thats just me. Performance wise, I like them both..but I do like the Aprilias style, comfort and performance just alittle bit more..and yes, I've ridden both.

just my :2cents: :)
