That's what I'm saying, as long as Rossi is breathing and has all his limbs, though, I don't think he'll win.

I don't remember where Hayden finished last year, but he wasn't a threat to win it even though he was on the RC211.

I think Biaggi's essentially done, as is Capirossi, and Giberneau (sp?). I'd like to see Edwards win eventually, but I don't see that happening. There's nobody in the same hemisphere as Rossi. .

Yeah I think the talent pool is to deep. The AMA riders come from a different world, though the Laguna stop this year will be interesting. The AMA tracks are much shorter, lower speed tracks and teh bikes, as hot as they are don't make the power of the motoGP units. Hayden is a great rider as is Edwards, but I would give Edwards the nod before Hayden. Hayden is riding arguably the best bike available. Rossi was more dominant on the RC than he has been with Yamaha. So if he can't pull it out in the next year or two I doubt he will ever win it.

I think this will be Rossi's final season, if not this year, next year will be. He is itchin to race on 4 wheels pretty bad, whether its in Formula 1 or WRC. Then others will have a chance... perhaps Nicky if he has a breakout season, but ya never know who will be coming up through the ranks either... I think the next champ after Rossi will be Makoto Tamada though. The japanese are really wanting to have a japanese rider as a champ, and I think he will get the best treatment from whatever team he is on as far as new parts and stuff.

I don't know, last time Rossi tried to race 4 wheels he wrecked the shyt out of the car if I remember correctly. lol I really hope this isn't his last season, hasn't been in GP all that long.

Good point with Tamada. .

An American on the podium at GP would be great. :dthumb:
I don't think Rossi will give it up until after he is injured or loses his edge.

I'm not a big fan of Hayden. :nonod:
That being said,
I don't know if Hayden is still in the shallow end with the best water wings money can buy or if he is learning to swim and getting closer to deep end.

One of the thing I don't like about GP is, if your not up front, your not talked about. (at least not in the US) I don't remember where he finished last year but it wasn't that bad, except for he was on one the worlds best bikes ever built.

I look for Hayden to steep it up just to keep his Honda money and I don't look for him up front. :2cents:

I dont know what it is bumblebee, but I am just not that big of a Troy Corser fan... I'm a bigger fan of his teammate ( and it looks like his main competition for this year) Yukio Kagayama.. he cracks me up so much when they interview him after the race..
