When I am cruising at freeway speeds I am getting alot of wind buffering off my helmet. Will an aftermarket windscreen deflect the air differently to help this? If so are there any suggestions of a good choice? I am riding a CBR f-2.

I had the same problem with my 998.
The factory screen put the air under my chin.
The new screen is about 2 inches taller and puts the air on top or above my helmet.
I thought the Italians where about the same size as us.
Not like little Orientals.

Just get a bubble windscreen. Don't know about Zero Gravity. I guarantee you'll like the difference with the bubble. The tinted ones aren't bad during the day too. At night you aren't gonna see much though. IMO I don't like going so fast I have to tuck my dome under the screen at night anyway.

I got the Zero Gravity sport touring shield on my CBR. It is 4 inches taller than stock, but looks almost the same. I also raised my bars, so the wind hits at the middle of my helmet. But I can slouch some on the highway and it works great. The Zero is very high quality.
I tried to put my CBR here, but didn't know how. Click my gallery picture of the red/white CBR. The stock screen only came up to the top of the mirrors.

Some cant get over the look.
Some bikes you wouldn't even notice if you didn't know better.
Some bikes such as my 998, desperately need it and look is secondary.
I actually like the look of a tall screen on the 998.

The Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen is what you are going to be happiest with. They are fairly inexpensive, and depending on your bike year and model, they come in various shades (clear, light smoke, dark smoke, etc.).

The one with fins wont throw my head around much at all, while the round one isnt any fun at high speeds. Also the finned one has an air gate under the chin and never gets that lifting feeling. So your prob may be a combination of where the wind is hitting you and helmet aerodynamics. :2cents:
