ok, so WSBK has some great racing, race 1 bayliss pulled a huge lead till his tires went and he was reeled in, setting up a great block by corser on Barros to secure 1st. Race 2 corser high sided and was clipped in the head region by a passing Barros but seemed to be ok so far. Toseland couldnt hold off Bayliss when he started spinning the rear regularly and Barros pushed through the yamahas to take 2nd. All the wsbk races have been exciting so far, nobody has been able to check out for long. As much as some hate it, i think the pirelli control tire idea is making the races much tighter. what do yall think?

do you think its a good idea?

Anytime I see motorsports tightening up the rules and imposing more and more restrictions I can't get the thought of NASCAR out of my head. I know it leaves more up to driver/rider skill, but its not the same. What would the losers get to complain about if their bike is setup just like everyone elses on the grid?

In my opinion, the tightening of the rules and regulations in regards to motorsports is what ends up killing the sports themselves. With an exception to NASCAR which has proved to be super profitable... but I think when you give a bunch of oval track fans lots of booze, and a bunch of drivers flying making left turns at 200mph theyre just there to watch the crashes.... Theres not much else you can do besides draft, bump draft, spin out, crash, and win.... but hey... I just happen to disslike it..... I just don't want to see that happen to motorcycle racing.
