This article echos what I seen on "Geraldo at Large" a few days ago. I am tired of the media blaming the bikes instead of focusing their efforts on the idiots that mount these "high-powered" machines. I think sportbikes, like guns, put people at risk when in the wrong hands.

Usually the articles are written by someone that doesn't ride, or knew someone once whose Grandma's brother-in-law had a motorcycle. Of course as tough as this room gets...I can imagine what y'all are gonna say when me and Snakemann and 99birdv6 get caught out in the forest goin' 150... :wink:

Just harsh. And i totally agree with the comparison to a Gun... Anything of power requires responsibility... it happens in Cars to every day... a kid in my town took their dad's porche 911 for a joyride when his folks were out on vacation and killed all 3 pasangers when he wrapped it around a tree...

there are some people in this world i wouldn't trust with a spoon, let alone a bike...

It seems that every 16-year-old driver killed in a car crash in Colorado was speeding. And most bike crashes involve a car driver who was at fault, but I'm too lazy to look up the exact numbers.
