I am looking for a mesh jacket for this summer. Right now, New Enough has two jackets that I am interested in. I would really appreciate any opinions and information you may have on these two jackets.
The first is the Teknic Supervent Mesh Jacket:

The second is the FirstGear Mesh-TexJacket:

I think they are fairly close. I think the Teknic may have better armour and stronger material over the armour, but not sure.

Thanks for any info.

Sorry I can't help you with your decision ron, but I think either would probably work for you.

I have a Joe Rocket jacket that is like 3-in-1. It has an interior windbreaker, then mesh with padding, then an outer liner. Everything zips together. In the colder weather, I have all 3 on and in the hot summer months I can remove the inner liner and outer shell and still have mesh for warmth and padding for protection.

I don't know how many shops are around you but it's kind of important to try it on first. Some of the pads will move around too easy and it distracts you. Make sure it fits you snug but not too tight. Try to get one were the pads are sewn into place.
